In the field of human conflict

In crisis and conflict zones road travel is a high risk environment. For the many dedicated men and women working in such regions armored vehicles ar vital - at times it is the only protection that stands between them and death.

Paradoxically, these same people are regularly issued with vehilcles in which armoring technology and survivability is never tested, independently certified or proven in any way. Consequently, their safety is compromised and expectations are false - resulting in, at worst, loss of life that could have been prevented.

No margin for error

Improvised explosive devices (IEDs) have become more common and more sophisticated in recent years and are now the central threat in many areas of conflict around the world. The detonation of an IED is sudden, savage and brutal beyond words. Injuries can be horrific and fatalities are all too common.

Purchasing an armored vehicle requires an intelligent customer – grounded in performance requirements as well as value for money. A correct and informed buying decision will protect lives – an error in purchasing judgement almost certainly will not.

Beware of the cheap deal, it could cost the lives of those you are responsible of protecting.

What ultimately matters

At first glance any armored SUV will likely impress those unfamiliar with such vehicles. However, thick glass, armored window frames and heavy doors are just three of the many important components.

What ultimately matters is the armor that cannot be seen. We fully integrate armor technology into the cavities of the original cabin, creating the strength necessary to defeat large amounts of explosives.

An armored vehicle where integrated armor technology has not been controlled or applied can deliver the most unsavory of consequences.

He is the dummy

To be certain that what we have developed will effectively save lives, all first-of-line vehicles undergo a punishing regime of IED blast trials.

The EuroSID dummy, fitted with 28 sensors, measures the effects of side blasts. Hybrid III, fitted with 34 sensors, measures under floor explosions. Grave brain trauma, pulmonary trauma, abdominal trauma and severe blunt trauma are injuries caused by high values of blast overpressure, high velocity fragment impact and acceleration forces. These dummies and the equipment to which they are connected tell us how chest compression, thorax acceleration, rip intrusion or upper neck force will affect the human body.

Our currency of trade is fact and not fiction.
